ABOUT / Dan McGrew
Dan McGrew joined TSG Advisors – Education in 2024 after an illustrious career focused on workforce development and higher education. Most recently, Dan served as Senior Vice President for Workforce Program Development at CareerSource Florida, overseeing strategic policy development to direct workforce investments for Florida. While at CareerSource Florida, Dan successfully spearheaded the launch of Florida’s Credentials Review Committee, which was responsible for developing the state’s Master Credentials List, along with many other key components of Florida’s transformational Reimagining Education and Career Help Act of 2021. He also partnered with the Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta to create a state-specific dashboard to help Floridians identify benefit cliffs along specified career paths.
Dan has prior experience in the private sector as the Regional Director for Dynamic Workforce Solutions in Tallahassee, where he managed service contract delivery for CareerSource Capital Region and other CareerSource operations around the state. He was also the College Director for ITT Technical Institute in Tallahassee, where he directed all campus operations, including recruitment, financial aid, academic affairs, and career services.
Dan is committed to community involvement and leadership, with a prodigious list of board service and volunteerism. From longtime involvement in Leadership Tallahassee, a gubernatorial appointment to the Florida Scholars Academy to serving on the Florida Assistive Technology Advisory Council and executive committee of the CareerSource Capital Region Board of Directors, serving on the Leon County Sheriff’s Office Citizen Advisory Council and much more – Dan pours his knowledge and expertise into the causes he cares about.
Dan is a graduate of Florida State University and is a Certified Workforce Development Professional and a Gallup-Certified CliftonStrengths Coach. He and his wife Jessica have four children and reside in Tallahassee.
