Atlanta, GA

Adam Hollingsworth is a veteran communications and public affairs professional, having served as the top appointed official in the nation’s third largest state and as a senior communications executive in a Fortune 500 company. He provides strategic insights, hands-on support and expert handling of media and public engagement for organizations of all sizes.

Drawing on his 30 years of experience, Adam is a driven and inspiring leader, team builder and communicator. His entire career has been spent in public facing roles, requiring continuous engagement with the media, the community and elected/appointed officials. He’s a driven strategist and tactician with a relentless pursuit of success for the organizations he serves. That means gaining the buy-in of community leaders, public officials and the citizenry, both through focused, hands-on work and broader communications strategies. His super power is speed. Information — and misinformation — moves fast today. Adam is faster.

He was the longest-serving chief of staff to then-Florida Governor Rick Scott, overseeing a workforce of more than 100,000 and a budget of $77 billion. In that role, Adam was responsible for the day-to-day functioning of state government, as well as advancing Governor Scott’s policy agenda. Prior to his service to Governor Scott, Adam served as chief of staff to Jacksonville, Fla. Mayor John Peyton. In both roles, Adam was called on regularly to build — or rebuild — community confidence and he did so with a savvy combination of empathy, facts and repetition.

Adam also spent nearly 10 years in the private sector, first as the vice president of corporate communications and public affairs for CSX Corporation and later as CEO of Parallel Infrastructure LLC. At CSX, Adam led communications and public affairs affairs where he led multi-state issues management and public policy advocacy including transportation funding and economic development.

He and his wife, Amy, live in Milton, GA with their two children, Hugh Michael (17) and Haley (14). They are members of Hope Church in Alpharetta, Ga. Adam serves on the advisory board of directors of Leading Life, a senior living company headquartered in Oklahoma. He also serves on the White Columns Community Association Board of Directors, the King’s Ridge Christian School Board of Trustees and is a former member of the University of North Florida’s Board of Trustees. He received a BA in Communications from the University of Alabama.

Our team combines deep expertise, technical know-how, and influential relationships.
